With the funding we have also had opportunities expand our project by training care home staff to develop their own dedicated Namaste Care programmes.”

Offering Rehab sessions on Speech and Language, Chair Base Exercise, and much more. Plus, advice on benefits, help with finances home visits and mental health support. “Thank you to HHCT most gratefully for the kind and generous grant, which was awarded to BASICS Essex, as a contribution towards a LUCAS Chest Compression Unit for our second Critical Care Car. Enhanced care need that is beyond standard ambulance service paramedic practice, accounts for approximately 5% of the daily call volume of the ambulance service. This level of care can only be provided safely and effectively by doctors and paramedics like BASICS Essex volunteers, that have undergone additional advanced education. BASICS Essex do not receive any statutory funding therefore, we rely solely upon public donations to enable us to continue our voluntary life saving work. The invaluable support from HHCT will help to save further lives within local communities.”
